Aqueous is a term used to describe a system that involves water.  The many interesting and unique properties of water as well as its numerous uses in daily life make it an ideal candidate for the study of basic chemistry and physics.  All known forms of life depend on water. This is why scientists first look for signs of water in their search for life on other planets.

The purpose of this book is to help students improve their understanding of the many scientific principles they learned in class by studying water, the most common substance we encounter in everyday life.
